Dog Friends from Pomona Horse Expo in California!

Canine performers at the Pomona Horse Expo included these cattle dogs showing off their excellent herding skills. The left one is a Border Collie, and the other two are Australian Kelpie dogs. They were very impressive to watch and meet!

 These two dogs stopped by the Book Corral to discuss the author's books.

This young reader and rider brought his furry friend and bought a Beloved Horses book!

What is that white stuff?

On our way to California, we made a stop in New Mexico. On January 30, 2013 we stopped for gas and I checked out the white stuff on the ground. Never seen it before but it was cold and wet. Brrr! I jumped right back into the van!

It is very pretty but I think I'll stick with sunny, warm Florida!
