Little Italian Pizza Event

On Sunday afternoon, we took a truck ride to the Florida gulf beach of Sand Key for a book signing at Little Italian Pizza. We set up on their back deck by the water. Yum! I love their pizza bones!

And I met some new friends who gave me dog treats. That's Shelby at the top and Kaden below.

I wanted to swim but my mom just gave me a bath and wouldn't let me. So I watched the seagulls diving in for fish. Sometimes there are manatees and dolphins there, but we didn't see any that day.

Happy 7th Birthday to Me!

That's Snoopy doing a Happy Birthday dance for me!

I was born in Ireland in 2003, and arrived in Georgia as a pup. My new Mom and Dad found me at a horse show there and adopted me. I traveled for two days to Texas with them and their old Jack Russell, Maxi. She died a couple of months later, and that's when I claimed the bed!

I loved my new family, and have fun traveling with them. We live in Tampa, Florida now but I love exploring different places.

Fun at Gulf Beaches Public Library!

I had a fantastic time at the Madeira Beach, Florida library today! My book, WOOGIE'S TRAVELS was the main feature and read to the audience with a power point presentation.

Everyone was so friendly - petting me and giving me treats. Yum!

My mom talked about her passions of animals (mostly horses and dogs), reading and writing. She gave door prizes and signed her books after reading my book.

I'm so excited! I'm looking forward to visiting the Gulf Beaches Public Library on Tuesday, July 6th from 2 - 3pm. I'll be visiting the kids during the summer children's program. They'll be petting me and feeding me treats - yum!

My book, Woogie's Travels - Looking for a Friend, will be read during a power point presentation.

Kids can color pictures of me taken from my book and there will even be a drawing for a free book!

Campground Block Party!

What fun we all had at the Happy Traveler's Campground this past Saturday! The Block Party had a BBQ, live music with Mercy, a Cake Walk (we won a cake!) and a dancing clown (pictured with me and my pop above). Actually, most of the people were dancing to oldies and even a Conga line!

The winter season is over for most of the Snowbirds who live north the rest of the year. I like staying here in the summer - the park is half empty and leaves me more room to sniff and explore!

Fun at HITS Ocala Ponies & Puppies Young Artists Contest!

I had a great day at HITS Ocala (FL) Kids Day where we held the Ponies & Puppies Young Artists Contest. I met lots of kids and a couple of mini horses and donkeys , too!

These friendly girls are Mae and Hannah - and they were very nice to me and fed me dog treats, YUM!

They colored pictures of horses and dogs and Hannah won the dog entry! Way to go, Hannah!

Summer Reading Program on a Florida Beach!

I've been invited to Gulf Beaches Public Library in Madeira Beach, Florida for an author event! I'm allowed INSIDE the library while author, Sharon Miner, reads my book, Woogie's Travels - Looking For a Friend. This will be for the summer program and I'll be there on Tuesday, July 6th at 2 - 3 pm.

Happy New Year!

I'm looking forward to another fun year in Tampa area!

We often visit the east coast of Florida - Merritt Island. That's where my buddy, Dutchess, lives. She's a Chihuahua and she had 3 puppies just before Thanksgiving! One is black & tan like her, the other two are black & white and look like Jack Russell Terriers. But the daddy is a Chihuahua.

We'll visit again next week and I hope to play with them!
