Author Fair in Land O Lakes Florida on April 4, 2020!

I've been invited to the Local Author's Fair at the Land O Lakes Library, in Land O Lakes, FL! It will be held on Saturday, April 4th from 10AM to 4PM.


I'll be speaking on a Panel, and selling my 11 print books for a special price of $10 each. Personally signed to you or a loved one! There are 5 books in the Beloved Horses series and tell true stories about special horses. Woogie's Travels are two dog books for bedtime reading or beginner readers. I have three middle grade / teen mystery novels as well.

Ocala Booksigning Dec 2, 2017

     This event is not just for horse lovers - dog lovers too! Join me at the famous Horsey Yard Sale at the Tack Shack in Ocala, FL the weekend of December 2, 2017! It's a huge outdoor venue for a variety of vendors as well as sales on items in the store.

      I'll have my booth there on Saturday with a special sale price on my 11 print books - all will be priced at $12 each! And they will be signed of course! NJ Family Pet Show!

The NJ Family Pet Show!

Are you an animal lover in the northeast NJ area? Then this event is for you!

I've been invited to speak three times a day at the Nov 5th & 6th show at The Garden State Expo Center on 50 Atrium Drive in Somerset, New Jersey. 

 

I'll also be holding Mini Grooming Sessions and having a booth to sell all my books (signed copies will be on sale!) and a variety of grooming supplies.

Woogie's Travels Discovering America features Woogie looking for fun in the southwest and western part of the United States. He learns about the creatures, the landscape and the national parks. He longs to swim since it is summer and very hot, but doesn't get a chance until he returns home. These books are wonderful bedtime stories for little children or for the beginner reader, especially dog lovers.

Woogie was a Border Terrier, born in Ireland, who loved children and traveling to new places. He delighted many children with visits to schools and libraries. His legacy now lives on his his books.

Summer Fun!

Although I love to swim, I don't usually like a bath. But when the grandchildren came to visit, they walked me, gave me treats and trimmed my hair a little with my mom supervising. Even sanded my nails! They gave me plenty of treats, so I  let them bathe me in my outdoor tub.

I also love going for golf cart rides! Here I am with my best girl, Bebe, before she went north for the summer. I look forward to her return this fall.

The Snowbirds Have Arrived!

My favorite neighbors are back in Tampa for the winter - Chablis (shown here) and Bebe are toy poodles that live across the way from me. I love to visit Chablis to see if I can steal his treats!

September Road Trip!

Amicalola Falls State Park, GA

I'm so excited!

Plans are being made for our September road trip to the lovely states of Georgia, Tennessee and Mississippi. Our first stop will be the Decatur Book Festival in Georgia on Sunday, Sept. 1st. It's the eighth annual AJC Decatur Book Festival with over three hundred best-selling authors and a vibrant street fair.

The next day, we'll stop at the Amicalola Falls State Park in Georgia. "At 729 feet, Amicalola Falls is the tallest cascading waterfall in the Southeast," says the website. Wow!  And I'll be allowed to walk the trails, too, on a leash of course.

Then, we'll travel to visit national and state parks in Tennessee and Mississippi on our way to Memphis, where we'll visit the patients at St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. Then a visit to Nashville!

Dog Friends from Pomona Horse Expo in California!

Canine performers at the Pomona Horse Expo included these cattle dogs showing off their excellent herding skills. The left one is a Border Collie, and the other two are Australian Kelpie dogs. They were very impressive to watch and meet!

 These two dogs stopped by the Book Corral to discuss the author's books.

This young reader and rider brought his furry friend and bought a Beloved Horses book!
